NEW VENUE FOR THE SOCIETY

The Panama Historical Society is pleased to inform its members and friends,of its new venue, the Biblioteca Nacional, located in Parque Omar - Via Porras.  Meetings are held the first wednesday of each month, from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm, in which a presentation is given by a guest speaker or a member of the society. Topics of discussion range from the history of Panama, Panama Canal, collecting, world history or nature/environment of Panama.

The Panama Historical Society is a bilingual group of people who share an interest in the rich history of the Republic of Panama. Members in the society include a variety of nationalities and professions, as well as interests. As a member, you can participate in a variety of society activities, such as monthly meetings and presentations, as well as special field trips, and other events.

Our members include people who enjoy reading, researching, collectors of Panama related items and people looking to learn something new about the country. Our meetings are held in an atmosphere of friendship and openness, while promoting historical preservation and education.
