Hi!
A change of plans and location this month, folks!
Due to scheduling, our planned speaker will not be able to attend our monthly meeting.
Instead, we are going to our plan B, which is quite relevant to current events on the isthmus.
As you well know, the Panama Canal Expansion Debate has heated up. With the Referendum ever closer, we have decided to extend this invitation by APROJAL to the following event:
This of course means we are not meeting at Niko's Cafe in Balboa, but rather at St. Mary's Church, a little earlier than the usual time.
We are sure our very informed members will add some spice to the event! There is no charge to attend. Like our esteemed President says, not only do we study history, we get to make it as well!
Any questions, please feel free to contact our PHS President John Carlson (jcarlson@cwpanama.net) or the Secretary, Carlos Hassán at chassan@panamahistoricalsociety.org
See you wednesday evening !
p.s. from the Secretary:
Don't forget to contribute materials for our new website at http://www.panamahistoricalsociety.org We are looking for digitized and organized collections of old Panama pictures, postcards, etc. that you may be holding and wish to share with our worldwide audience!
