Hello All,
The Panama Historical Society cordially invites you to its July 2006 meeting, to be held at 7:30 PM - "Niko's Cafe" (the old Balboa Bowling Alley" site in the port area of Balboa...
Our speaker will be Architect Pat Dillon, lead Panamanian architect for the "Museum of BioDiversity" project of internationally-acclaimed Architect Frank Gehry (EN | ES), to be located on the old Fort Amador military reservation, including some PowerPoint photos of concepts.
Mr. Dillon will discuss the genesis of the project, share some personal experiences, and bring us all up to date on the project... there will be a question-and-answer session wherein we will be free to explore some of the less public or unusual aspects of the history of this project, which we are all hoping will now be brought to a grand opening... the sooner the better...
